Hi, I'm here from Mom Loop Friday on Blogfrog! I totally agree with your posting that it is important to start preparing your child early. I think however that what is so important in the college process is the quality of the resume; just putting in 20 or so different extra-curricular activites won't matter if there is no real passion for what the child does. Leadership roles are very important, as well as tying in some of those outside interests.
AS for grades, yes they are veryimportant, but the course rigor is just as important. Colleges want to see a student push themselves and not take very easy classes during the all important junior year.
Great blog! Hope you check ours out too

We love these grape jelly meatballs. Word of warning though, don't make the same mistake I made. Check the meatballs packaging before you buy and make sure you are getting beef meatballs and not turkey. Turkey just don't taste as well with this recipe.

Yum, I have tried these a couple of times. The first time was the perfect potato recipe. The next time, I didn't have onions, so I grabbed my bottle of onion salt and left out the sea salt since the salt was already in the seasoning. Big mistake, yes, they were potatoes and still good, but not nearly as good as the original recipe. Do yourself a favor and go out and get an onion! This is making me hungry, think I'll go make some now :)
