Fisher Price swing recallCradle Recall – This swing looks so cute, it’s hard to believe there has been a recall, yet, 34,000 Cradle ‘n Swing products made by Fisher-Price have indeed been recalled. There have been reports of a seat peg coming out from the seat which makes the seat fall. While no injuries have been reported, it could cause an injury should the peg come out.

These are the models being recalled:

  • CHM84 Soothing Savanna Cradle ‘n Swing
  • CMR40 Sweet Surroundings Cradle ‘n Swing
  • CMR43 Sweet Surroundings Butterfly Friends Cradle ‘n Swing.

The above models were sold via Target, buybuyBaby, and other stores online and storefront nationwide from Nov. 2015 to March 2016 for about $170. To find the product number, have a look under the seat.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission is urging those who purchased one of the cradle/swings to immediately stop using the product and to contact Fisher-Price for revised assembly instructions.
