?Monday the Bullfrog,? published by Simon & Schuster has been recalled. This board book includes a plush frog puppet which is the cause of this safety concern. There have been a few reports that the eyes on the frog have detached, causing a potential choking hazard. In one case, the book arrived with an eye already separated from the puppet frog.
?Monday the Bullfrog? was sold between January 2006 and November 2009. The characters on the back include 1416912312 and 13 as well as 9781416912316. This book and puppet was also manufactured in China.
Simon & Schuster urges all consumers to take the product out of the reach of children immediately and to call (800) 732-9531 for refund information. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported form this product at this time.
